About ALËNA
Hey i’m Alëna – pronounced like “Alyona,” but you can add a “K” for a little bit of spice 😉 like Alenka! But many call me Ayyyy! I’ve been making videos for over 10 years now. It’s by immersing myself in different cultures through travel that my eyes were first opened to videography. Being an adoptee from another country I fell in love with the process of collecting moments. I feel that my exposure to changing environments has allowed me to appreciate things from various perspectives and remain calm and assertive in fast pace situations. Such as weddings! I love capturing different traditions and religions AND of course documenting people in love or breaking the dance floor are my literal favs!

She takes the time to truly capture your vision of how you want your video to look and feel through phone calls and a questionnaire before the day. Something I really valued was how amazingly Alëna worked together with our photographers to capture all of our important moments and we felt so comfortable with her on our wedding day. And - her content is AMAZING. My husband and I were in tears watching our teaser.     Absolutely amazing to work with!! Alëna is so kind and so professional. She worked really well with the photographers, allowing them to get their shots while also grabbing her own. I received both a 1 min teaser and a 4 min highlight and I'm blown away at the quality and all the moments she captured. We also received everything back in a timely manner, keeping to the timeline she stated in her contract.     If you plan on having a video of your special day, Alëna is a MUST. She was so attentive through the planning process, is extremely detail oriented, and was so interested in learning exactly how we wanted our wedding captured. Day of the wedding, she had 3 cameras with her to capture different angles, and was great with making sure she captured every moment. Both our short (4 min) trailer vid and full length wedding video were EXACTLY what I pictured. They were both edited beautifully and it was like watching a cinematic production of my life. She is genuinely the kindest human, and made my day so special. I cannot recommend her enough.

    I can’t say enough about how incredible Alena is! I honestly wasn’t sure that videography was in my budget even though it was something that I really wanted for my wedding. I did a search for local, female- owned videography businesses and found Alenka Films. I reached out to her about 2 weeks before my July wedding and got an immediate response. After speaking for a few minutes I knew she was a perfect fit! She was super flexible considering I didn’t know exactly what I wanted and told me that I would always have the option to add on more to the package after the big day. She was super professional and helpful on the day of the wedding and was able to capture so many special moments without my husband and I even noticing. Delivery of our videos was super prompt and we loved them so much that we ended up adding a longer documentary edit to our package which also turned out to be amazing.
